Blake & Ryan have finally tied the knot
After months of jealousy from the female population of the world (and a little stalking from me), we all finally had to let go, as Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds tied the knot on September 14th. Although they did not legally become married until five days later due to paperwork (oops). The wedding took place in South Carolina at the Boone plantation in Mount Pleasant, the exact location where the film 'The Notebook' was filmed. Oh how romantic. Apparently it was such a private and intimate ceremony that all guests phones were taken from the guests and they had to sign non-disclosure agreements .
The bride floated down the aisle in a one of a kind 'couture bridal ballgown' designed by Marchesa's Chapman and Keren Craig, Blake was also said to have been very involved in the designing too (turns out she is creative as well as beautiful). As you can see the dress incorporates her class, beautiful figure and youth, and she just looked like the beautiful glowing bride that she is (making her the envy of all women even more). Ryan according to rumours also wore a custom made Burberry suit by Christopher Bailey (Swoon). The rest of the bridal party each wore a unique custom made blush silk chiffon Marchesa gown with crystal detail. I believe its safe to say it has to have been a one of the most good looking weddings ever if the bride and groom are anything to go by. They may go on to have the most beautiful babes too (eek a little bit excited).
My one true love
So i thought i would introduce you to my love... The Sex and the city box set. I have always been such a huge fan of SATC as it combines my two most favourite things in the whole world, New York city and fashion, but sadly as i do not have Sky TV at home i have never been able to watch the full seasons just random episodes. After months of pining me and my sister finally got if for Christmas in 2010. Unfortunately i never had much time to watch it all so ive always just watched the one disk every so often. However this summer i found myself with not much to do for a few hours a day, so i decided to watch right from the beginning during my morning 2 hour work out session. Although after a few work outs i decided to watch more when i had time throughout the day aswell as i was hooked. The box set takes you through Carrie Bradshaw and her fabulous friends lives, from the rose tinted moments to the more turbulent times, its so addictive as every woman can relate to some of the issues that the girls have to face, from bad break ups to your best friends having your back and by the end of the first season you feel a connection to certain characters depending on your own personality. Just writing this makes me want to watch the whole box set all over again. I've also got both films which are just as fabulous but its best to wait until you've gotten through the box set first.
Next i think its time to get the Desperate housewives box set.

During my shopping phase i also bought these Melody Black Chelsea boot wellies. However i was much less impressed when these arrived. I had ordered these in a size 6 as thats my shoe size, although when i tried these on they seemed alot bigger, my toes were nowhere near the end of the boots and they just looked huge on my feet. I going to have to send these back as i they look ridiculous. Im so dissapointed with these as i thought they looked so nice on the website.
Topshop Adonis 2
So after seeing these Topshop Adonis 2 boots in Vogue last month i have been dying for them. However dissapointingly i couldn't find them anywhere on the website and i was beginning to give up on my dream boots. However one fateful day i turned up at my lecture and my friend was wearing my dream boots, after quizzing her on how and where she got them she agreed to have a look in Topshop Manchester where she got hers. Sadly they had sold out but that didn't stop me, after weeks of trawling the web they finally became available again in Oxblood for just £75 and i bought them. They finally arrived two days ago and i was so excited (i may have done a small victory dance). I am so pleased with them, they're the most comfortable boots i have ever owned and the cut outs and colour give them a vintage edge. They go with just about everything aswell, im so excited to wear them all through the winter as they make the cold rainy weather so much more bearable. Ive got a feeling they may have to be cut off my feet after this winter as i definitely will not want to take them off.
